About the Role: Senior Accountant

Innovative Tashgeel Operations & Maintenance Company, a leading entity in Saudi Arabia’s vital water infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant. Based in Abqaiq, this role is crucial for supporting our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and contributing to key processes like VAT, payroll, and management reporting. Key Responsibilities of a Financial Controller

• Meticulously review daily accounting entries (double entries) within the ERP system to guarantee accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards.
• Generate comprehensive monthly financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and all requisite supporting schedules.
• Thoroughly examine payment vouchers, verifying that all necessary supporting documentation, approvals, and budget checks are meticulously in place.
• Oversee and review payroll processing, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and strict compliance with both company policies and local labor regulations.
• Conduct detailed reviews of VAT returns, ensuring their timely and accurate submission in full accordance with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) requirements.
• Validate the accuracy of customer invoices (sales invoices) and ensure proper revenue recognition principles are applied.
• Provide essential support to the Finance Manager in gathering and analyzing financial data required for Board and shareholder reporting.
• Uphold and ensure adherence to all internal controls, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to promptly resolve any accounting discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements for a Fiscal Analyst

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Experience with VAT regulations and submission processes in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
