Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to identify and report any structural drawing or execution discrepancies, providing essential technical support to Site Engineers and field supervisors.
• Represent the project team in crucial client and consultant meetings, focusing on structural designs and project execution progress.
• Analyze the configurations of fundamental structural components for buildings and other structures, offering expert advice to project teams and management.
• Collaborate effectively with other designers, including architects, to ensure safe designs that align with the aesthetic vision of the construction.
• Examine the design and construction of structures, advising project teams on enhancements to structural integrity.
• Investigate ground conditions and analyze results from site tests, such as soil samples, prior to project commencement.
• Liaise with and supervise subcontractors to confirm the structural soundness of their work schedules.
• Review designs and drawings, prepare structural shop drawings, and coordinate/advise architects and draftsmen accordingly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with significant hands-on site experience.
• Proven expertise in the structural design and optimization of concrete and steel structures.
• Strong understanding of international standards and building codes.
