UAE Branches is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer, also known as a Lead Structural Engineer or Principal Civil Consultant, for a critical Offshore Island Project located in Abu Dhabi. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all civil engineering aspects of the offshore island brownfield construction project.
• Ensure strict adherence to international safety standards and engineering best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Review and approve civil design documents, specifications, and construction plans.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage contractor performance and ensure quality control on site.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years of comprehensive experience in civil engineering within the Oil and Gas industry.
• At least 12 years of specialized experience in brownfield construction and execution.
• Proven experience with Artificial Offshore Island Facilities is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and execution strategies for mega-projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
