About the Role

SupportFinity is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team in the United Arab Emirates. As a critical member of our healthcare division, you will be instrumental in coordinating comprehensive nursing care, encompassing direct patient care, essential patient and family education, and seamless transitions of care. This role is pivotal in upholding the mission, vision, and values of SSMC, ensuring age-appropriate patient care in alignment with the Nursing Scope of Practice and the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Key Responsibilities of an OR Nurse

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, collecting and analyzing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual data to identify diagnoses and issues based on the patient’s condition.
• Utilize evidence-based assessment techniques to gather data, validating diagnoses with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Prioritize assessment data based on the patient’s immediate needs and anticipated risks, documenting findings meticulously according to established guidelines.
• Identify expected patient outcomes and develop individualized, culturally appropriate plans of care that address health promotion, restoration, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to create and modify care plans based on ongoing assessments and evolving patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based nursing practices to achieve expected outcomes and ensure continuity of care throughout the patient’s journey.

Qualifications for Surgical Nurses

• Valid nursing license recognized in the UAE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a significant portion in an Operating Room setting.
• Proficiency in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care protocols.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to adhering to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines.
