About the Role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Vision division in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This pivotal role is integral to the Middle East and Africa region’s strategic financial operations. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be instrumental in providing precise financial analysis and reporting, directly influencing key business decisions. You will collaborate closely with operational teams and senior management, driving financial excellence. The position requires a deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and month-end close processes within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Experience in a matrix organization, coupled with knowledge of regional tax and regulatory landscapes, and robust ERP/BI proficiency, are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, developing and maintaining rolling forecasts and sophisticated scenario models.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary for regional stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Finance Operations and distributor-related financial matters.
  • Conduct in-depth financial performance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial plans and objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on financial analysis and business partnering.
  • Proven experience in leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, including scenario modeling.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a matrix organization structure and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of regional tax and regulatory requirements within the Middle East and Africa.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
