About the Role

Parker Connect is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Ajman. This pivotal role involves developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies to align with our business objectives, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and punctual delivery of goods and services. As a key player in our operations, you will be instrumental in shaping our sourcing practices and fostering robust supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors through rigorous assessment processes.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with suppliers, fostering collaborative and productive partnerships.
  • Identify potential risks in procurement activities and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Plan supply chains in collaboration with internal stakeholders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Implement and track cost-saving initiatives, meticulously measuring their impact on the bottom line.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to thoroughly understand and address their unique procurement needs.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are strategically aligned with overall business objectives and goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar senior sourcing role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in inventory planning and supply chain optimization.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
