About the Role: Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

Star Services LLC, a prominent financial services holding company based in Abu Dhabi, is actively seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial reporting and compliance efforts. This pivotal role is ideal for a meticulous professional with a deep understanding of accounting principles and robust experience in ERP systems, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Do

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems for enhanced financial management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.

Qualifications We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within financial services or holding companies.
• Proven expertise in accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and UAE financial regulations.
