Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex reconstructive and reconstructive surgeries for burn-injured patients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for acute and chronic burn care.
• Provide expert consultation and surgical opinions to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Oversee the management of wound care, infection control, and pain management for burn patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Mentor and educate junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in burn surgery.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in burn management and reconstructive surgery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).
• Completion of a recognized residency program in General Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
• Fellowship training and board certification in Burn Surgery or a closely related subspecialty.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-fellowship experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
