Key Responsibilities of a General Practitioner

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Accurately diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform thorough patient consultations, medical assessments, and routine health examinations.
• Interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations to inform treatment plans.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications, ensuring patient safety and efficacy.
• Champion preventive healthcare, wellness initiatives, and patient education programs.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records according to established clinical standards.
• Facilitate specialist referrals and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications and Requirements for a Medical Practitioner

• Filipino nationality is strongly preferred, aligning with our patient demographic.
• Must possess a valid DHA License or be eligible to obtain one as a General Practitioner.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in General Practice.
• Demonstrated experience in Outpatient Department (OPD) or primary healthcare settings.
• A patient-centred approach with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Tagalog is required. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume community clinic setting.

Skills and Education for Health Professionals

• MBBS / MD or an equivalent medical degree from a reputable institution.
• Completion of a recognized internship program with substantial clinical exposure.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
