About the Role

Mediclinic Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Nurse to join our Pediatric Ward at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai. This role is crucial in providing and coordinating patient-centric, evidence-based nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will play a key part in upholding the highest ethical and professional standards as set by regulatory authorities and the company, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our young patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with the multi-professional team according to established clinical standards and legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in line with appropriate MCME risk policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Take active responsibility for fostering positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment, as directed by nursing leadership.
• Contribute actively to a learning environment designed to enhance employee competence.
• Provide essential care and support to pediatric patients, assisting with daily living activities and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and observations made.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Essential: Nursing Diploma
• Essential: Current/Recent experience in a pediatric ward.
• Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of pediatric patient needs and care protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
