About the Role
First Abu Dhabi Bank, a leading financial institution located in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide strategic support to its Business Head. This full-time, in-office position is crucial for ensuring seamless operations and efficient management of the Business Head’s extensive responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Business Head’s complex and dynamic calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings across multiple time zones.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications, screening calls, managing correspondence, and drafting responses as needed.
- Organize and manage all logistical aspects of meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread reports, presentations, and other documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct preliminary research and gather information to support the Business Head’s strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative support role.
- Prior experience supporting senior leadership within the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual collaboration tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Discretion and a high level of professionalism in handling sensitive information.
