Zain Bahrain is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Bede division, based in Manama, Bahrain. This role sits within the Finance division of one of the Middle East's leading mobile telecommunications pioneers. About the Role

As a Finance Manager — also referred to as a Financial Controller, Finance Lead, or Head of Finance Operations — you will oversee critical financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance. This is a senior-level position requiring deep expertise in corporate finance, financial reporting standards, and strategic planning within the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis for the Bede division
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital optimization
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely resolution of findings
• Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions and investment evaluations
• Ensure adherence to Zain Group's financial policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, commercial, and regulatory departments
• Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably within telecommunications or a related industry
• Strong command of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Bahraini commercial law
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder communication abilities
• Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
