Operations & Compliance Intern – BPay – Capital City Internship

About the Role

Join BPay, a fast‑growing division of Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem. As an Operations & Compliance Intern you will support daily operational workflows and assist the compliance team in maintaining regulatory standards across the Capital City office. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to cryptocurrency transaction monitoring, risk assessment, and process optimization within a global fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Support: Assist in daily transaction processing, data entry, and reconciliation of crypto‑related financial records.
• Compliance Monitoring: Help conduct KYC/AML checks, flag suspicious activities, and maintain up‑to‑date compliance documentation.
• Risk Management: Participate in risk assessments, prepare reports on potential regulatory issues, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in operational workflows, propose efficiency enhancements, and assist in the rollout of new SOPs.
• Data Analysis: Compile and analyze operational metrics, generate performance dashboards, and present insights to senior staff.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment on compliance requirements and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and financial regulation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced, multicultural team.
