About the Role
As the Finance Manager for the Maghreb region, you will serve as the primary financial partner to business unit leadership. Your work will directly influence decision-making through accurate financial planning, rigorous closing processes, and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets across the Maghreb business unit.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget and identify variances, providing clear explanations for deviations.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to business unit leadership based on financial analysis and trend identification.
- Prepare management reports and financial dashboards that support strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements applicable in the Maghreb region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and supply chain to align financial objectives.
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, budgeting, or management accounting.
- Proven experience leading financial closing cycles and budget preparation processes.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, variance reporting, and management reporting.
- Excellent command of financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Fluency in both French and English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
