Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled CMS Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, content-rich websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in content management systems, front-end and back-end development, and a strong understanding of web performance, SEO best practices, and user experience optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom CMS solutions and websites using platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar systems.
• Build and customize themes, plugins, and modules to meet project requirements and business objectives.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability across all devices and browsers.
• Implement and manage content workflows, user roles, and permissions within the CMS environment.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services including CRMs, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems.
• Ensure all web properties follow SEO best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CMS platforms, hosting environments, and web applications.
• Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, code standards, and system configurations.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, CMS updates, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMS Developer or Web Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with major CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar.
• Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational database management systems.
• Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web service integrations.
• Understanding of web security best practices and data protection standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless CMS architectures and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Next.js).
• Knowledge of server management and cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
• Familiarity with SEO tools and on-page optimization techniques.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, or Magento.
• Certifications in web development or CMS-specific platforms.
