Role Overview

Join Cevital Agro‑industrie, a leading agro‑industrial group in Algeria, as an Industrial Maintenance Technician specialized in Automation. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of production equipment, optimizing automation systems, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, update technical documentation, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning of new automation projects.
• Conduct regular inspections, calibrations, and performance tests of critical assets.
• Provide technical support and training to operators on proper equipment handling.

Required Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, etc.) and familiarity with SCADA/HMI interfaces.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and data‑driven maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
• Basic knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
• Fluency in French and Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
