What You'll Own

• Legionella Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of water systems, cooling towers, and aerosol-generating facilities to identify and mitigate Legionella proliferation risks.
• Prevention & Control Plans: Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-specific Legionella prevention and control programs in compliance with current health regulations.
• Sampling & Monitoring: Execute routine and targeted water sampling campaigns, coordinate laboratory analysis, and interpret results to drive corrective actions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities under your supervision meet national and regional health and safety standards for water quality and Legionella management.
• Technical Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, corrective measures, and compliance records with precision and clarity.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with facility managers, maintenance teams, and health authorities to implement remediation strategies swiftly and effectively.

What You Bring

• Technical Background: Degree or certification in environmental health, biology, chemistry, industrial hygiene, or a closely related technical field.
• Hands-On Experience: Proven track record in Legionella prevention, water treatment, or environmental health monitoring — you know what to look for before a problem escalates.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of applicable health codes, water safety regulations, and industry best practices for Legionella control.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to read and interpret microbiological data, risk matrices, and technical reports with confidence.
• Field-Ready: Comfortable working across multiple sites, conducting on-site inspections, and managing both routine and emergency response scenarios.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional in documenting findings and presenting recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
