About the Role

Rotana is seeking a dedicated and guest-focused Linen Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team in Sharm El Sheikh. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and record all incoming soiled linens.
• Inspect linens for damage, stains, or wear and tear, segregating items needing repair or replacement.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers, according to established procedures.
• Fold, stack, and organize clean linens according to hotel standards and par levels.
• Distribute clean linens to various departments, such as guest floors, F&B outlets, and spa, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory records of linens, tracking usage, loss, and replacement needs.
• Ensure the laundry area is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Assist with periodic linen inventories and stocktaking.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting linens and maintaining quality standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle linen flow effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift, and carry linens.
