What You'll Own
- End-to-end maintenance lifecycle for a fleet of medical and laboratory devices—installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Regulatory compliance adherence to Egyptian Ministry of Health standards, ISO 13485, and manufacturer specifications for every asset.
- Rapid response protocols for critical equipment failures in clinical settings, minimizing downtime and coordinating with clinical staff.
- Asset management & documentation using CMMS to track service history, spare parts inventory, and calibration schedules.
- Vendor coordination for complex repairs, warranty claims, and software updates on imaging, life support, and diagnostic equipment.
- Training & knowledge transfer to junior technicians and clinical users on proper device operation and basic troubleshooting.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics with a focus on medical devices.
- Proven experience (3+ years) maintaining clinical equipment—patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, anesthesia machines, lab analyzers, or imaging systems.
- Deep familiarity with IEC 60601, IEC 62353, and local regulatory requirements for medical device safety testing.
- Hands-on proficiency with schematics, service software, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibration tools.
- Fluent Arabic and professional English for technical documentation, vendor communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Valid professional engineering license or eligibility for registration with the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers.
