Generator Commissioning & Factfinding Engineer – 90+ Countries Energy Network

Lead generator commissioning and fact-finding investigations for Siemens Energy's Gas Services division across the Middle East, driving reliability for a 90+ country service network.

• Execute commissioning of generator systems and auxiliary equipment per OEM standards
• Conduct root-cause fact-finding analyses on generator performance issues
• Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions for gas turbine packages
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and quality targets
• Support service operations across the Middle East region from Cairo base

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience in generator commissioning, testing, or field service (gas turbine background preferred)
• Deep knowledge of generator protection, excitation systems, and vibration analysis
• Proven fact-finding and root-cause analysis methodology experience
• Willingness to travel across Middle East sites; fluent English, Arabic a plus
