Safety Coordinator, Workplace Health & Safety

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support and maintain a safe, compliant, and incident-free working environment within our Delivery Station. In this critical role, you will champion workplace health and safety programs, conduct regular safety inspections, perform comprehensive risk assessments, and lead incident investigations to ensure the well-being of all employees and the full compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections of the Delivery Station to identify hazards and ensure compliance with internal safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform thorough risk assessments across all operational areas, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to mitigate potential risks.
• Lead and document incident investigations, analyzing root causes and recommending preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Support the development and execution of workplace health and safety training sessions for associates and management teams.
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspection logs, and incident reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure safety equipment is available, functional, and properly used.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to foster a culture of safety awareness and proactive hazard reporting.
• Monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and company standards, providing guidance on best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator, Safety Officer, or similar role in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, safety inspection techniques, and incident investigation procedures.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and compliance standards, including OSHA guidelines or equivalent local regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and interact with associates at all levels.
• Certification in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA, is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or delivery station operations.
• First aid / CPR certification.
• Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear and accurate safety documentation.
