About the Role

PwC's Advisory practice is seeking a Technology Industry Manager to lead high-impact engagements across the ETIC (Emerging Technology & Industry Consulting) portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and industry specialization, driving digital transformation for clients in the technology sector. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, shape advisory solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes for leading technology companies and enterprises adopting emerging technologies.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end advisory engagements for technology sector clients, focusing on digital strategy, operating model transformation, and technology-enabled business innovation.
• Manage engagement teams of 5-15 professionals, ensuring quality delivery, timeline adherence, and budget compliance across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and present C-suite level recommendations on emerging technology adoption (AI/ML, cloud, blockchain, IoT, cybersecurity) aligned with client business objectives.
• Build and maintain deep industry expertise in software, semiconductors, telecommunications, fintech, and digital-native business models.
• Drive business development: identify opportunities, lead proposal development, participate in pitch presentations, and expand PwC's footprint in the technology industry vertical.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PwC's Tax, Assurance, Consulting, and Deals practices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants and senior associates through structured coaching, performance feedback, and technical skill building.
• Contribute to thought leadership: author whitepapers, speak at industry events, and develop proprietary frameworks/assets for the ETIC practice.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in management consulting, technology advisory, or industry leadership roles within the technology sector.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream engagements for enterprise clients (Fortune 500 / large-cap tech companies).
• Deep domain knowledge in at least two of: cloud transformation, AI/ML strategy, cybersecurity governance, digital product management, or technology M&A integration.
• Demonstrated business development success with existing client expansion and/or new logo acquisition.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage for the Egypt market.

Preferred Skills

• Big 4 or Tier-1 strategy consulting background (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Strategy&, Deloitte, EY, KPMG).
• Industry certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, PMP, TOGAF, or SAFe Agilist.
• Experience working with venture-backed scale-ups, sovereign wealth funds, or government digital transformation programs in MENA.
• Published thought leadership in technology strategy, digital economics, or emerging tech policy.
• Active network within Egypt's technology ecosystem: startup founders, VC firms, government digital agencies, enterprise CIO/CTO community.
