What You'll Own

• Define and execute the medical affairs strategy aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance across all touchpoints.
• Lead medical strategy for product lifecycle — from pre-launch evidence generation through post-marketing surveillance and real-world evidence initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing medical team, fostering a culture of scientific rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Own key external stakeholder relationships with KOLs, academic institutions, regulatory bodies, and professional societies across Egypt and the region.
• Drive medical content development for scientific communications, publications, congresses, and medical education programs that shape clinical practice.
• Partner with commercial, R&D, and regulatory teams to ensure medical insights inform decision-making and mitigate risk.
• Oversee pharmacovigilance and medical information functions, ensuring patient safety and accurate, timely response to unsolicited inquiries.

What You Bring

• MD or PhD in life sciences with 10+ years of progressive medical affairs experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading medical strategy for product launches, lifecycle management, and evidence generation programs in therapeutic areas relevant to the portfolio.
• Deep understanding of Egyptian and MENA regulatory environments (EMA, FDA, local health authority guidelines) and compliance frameworks.
• Established KOL network across key therapeutic specialties in Egypt and the broader region.
• Experience managing hybrid teams and collaborating across geographies in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English and Arabic — written and spoken — with the ability to communicate complex science to diverse audiences.
