Senior RPA Business Analyst | Intelligent Automation & Process Optimization

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RPA Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and robotic process automation solutions. In this role, you will lead the discovery, analysis, and documentation of complex business processes, translating them into technical requirements for RPA development teams. You will work closely with stakeholders across operations, IT, and governance to identify high-value automation opportunities, define solution scope, and ensure successful delivery of scalable bots using platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end process discovery workshops and feasibility assessments for RPA candidates.
• Document current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) process flows using BPMN, flowcharts, and detailed process definition documents (PDDs).
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, exception handling logic, and business rules for automation workflows.
• Collaborate with RPA developers, solution architects, and QA engineers to validate bot design, test scenarios, and deployment readiness.
• Perform ROI analysis, effort estimation, and prioritization of automation pipeline based on business impact and technical complexity.
• Establish and enforce RPA governance standards, naming conventions, logging, and error-handling frameworks.
• Support change management initiatives, including user acceptance testing (UAT), training materials, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Monitor bot performance post-deployment, analyze exceptions, and drive continuous improvement cycles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years focused on RPA / Intelligent Automation projects.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale automation using UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
• Strong proficiency in process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio) and requirements management (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and RPA lifecycle (Discovery → Design → Develop → Test → Deploy → Monitor).
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
• Experience with SQL, APIs, OCR, AI/ML integration in automation contexts is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills

• RPA certification (UiPath RPA Developer/Business Analyst, Blue Prism Professional, etc.).
• Background in finance, banking, insurance, or shared services operations.
• Familiarity with process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, Minit).
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms and citizen development governance.
• Arabic language proficiency for local stakeholder engagement.
