Director of Revenue

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue to lead the Revenue & Reservations department in Cairo, Egypt. This fixed-term, full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a pivotal role in maximizing revenue performance through strategic pricing, demand forecasting, and distribution channel management. The ideal candidate will drive revenue optimization strategies across all market segments while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy
• Oversee daily revenue operations including pricing, inventory control, and yield management
• Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and demand patterns to inform pricing decisions
• Manage distribution channel strategy across OTAs, direct booking, corporate accounts, and wholesale partners
• Lead forecasting and budgeting processes for rooms revenue and related revenue streams
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align revenue strategies with promotional campaigns
• Implement and maintain revenue management systems and reporting tools
• Conduct regular performance reviews and present actionable insights to senior leadership
• Train and mentor revenue team members on best practices and analytical techniques
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and revenue management policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive revenue management experience in upscale/luxury hotels
• Proven track record of revenue optimization and profit maximization
• Advanced proficiency in revenue management systems (IDeaS, Duetto, Rainmaker, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, forecasting models, and KPI tracking
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is highly advantageous
• Deep understanding of Middle East hospitality market dynamics

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional certifications (CRME, CHRM, HSMAI)
• Experience with multi-property revenue management
• Background in resort or mixed-use property revenue strategy
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in pre-opening or repositioning projects
