Job Overview

Join Al-Futtaim, a leading diversified regional business established in the 1930s and headquartered in Dubai, as a Duty Manager for Marks & Spencer at Mall of Egypt. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading a high-performing retail team in one of Egypt's premier shopping destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Marks & Spencer standards and Al-Futtaim policies.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates and support staff to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor floor activity, manage queue times, and resolve customer escalations promptly and professionally.
• Ensure visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security checks, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement promotional activities, seasonal changes, and operational improvements.
• Prepare and analyze daily sales reports, labor schedules, and inventory discrepancies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for mall management and external stakeholders during shift hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within retail or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities with a focus on coaching and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, including POS systems, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Customer-centric mindset with a track record of driving service excellence and brand loyalty.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
