About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Relationship Officer to join a leading Investment Company in Kuwait (Al Asimah Governorate). This pivotal role focuses on managing and enhancing high-value client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors. The successful candidate will drive client retention, identify cross-selling opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with the firm's investment advisory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main relationship manager for a portfolio of high-net-worth and institutional clients in the Kuwait market.
• Proactively manage client onboarding, KYC compliance, and ongoing due diligence processes per CMA regulations.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and performance reporting meetings with clients, presenting investment updates and market insights.
• Identify and execute cross-selling and upselling opportunities for investment products, funds, and advisory services.
• Resolve complex client inquiries and escalations promptly, coordinating with internal departments (Compliance, Operations, Portfolio Management).
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of client financial goals, risk profiles, and investment preferences.
• Prepare customized investment proposals, presentations, and market commentary for client reviews.
• Monitor client satisfaction metrics and implement service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to support client acquisition strategies and referral programs.
• Ensure full adherence to Capital Markets Authority (CMA) Kuwait regulations, AML/CTF policies, and internal compliance frameworks.
• Maintain accurate client records and interaction logs in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics).
• Participate in client events, roadshows, and networking functions to strengthen relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or CFA/CAIA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in client relationship management, private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory within the GCC region, preferably Kuwait.
• Proven track record managing HNWI / UHNWI client portfolios with assets under advisement.
• In-depth knowledge of investment products: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments, structured products.
• Strong understanding of Kuwait financial regulations, CMA rules, and GCC market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic (bilingual required).
• Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial data terminals (Bloomberg, Reuters).
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based, long-term client relationships in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial statements and market trends.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CWM, CISI, or Series 7/66 are highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Islamic finance products and Sharia-compliant investment structures.
• Existing network of high-net-worth individuals and family offices in Kuwait/GCC.
• Familiarity with portfolio management systems and performance attribution tools.
