Civil Engineer Job in Kuwait – Construction Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. This role is critical for the successful planning, design, and execution of construction projects across the region. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring project integrity, compliance with local regulations, and timely delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor construction progress and enforce quality and safety standards.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in construction projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS) and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
