Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the accounting operations related to ESG initiatives.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, analyses, and statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data for ESG reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support ESG reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, specifically focusing on ESG-related expenditures and investments.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance related to sustainability goals.
• Support internal and external audits related to ESG accounting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting and analysis.
• Proven experience with ESG accounting principles and reporting frameworks is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of Kuwaiti corporate finance regulations and accounting standards.
