Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project controls strategies, including cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion and identifying critical path activities.
• Monitor project performance against baseline plans, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and risks.
• Manage change control processes, assessing the impact of scope changes on cost and schedule.
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project controls, with a proven track record in the energy or chemical industries.
• Extensive knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management systems.
• Strong understanding of project finance, risk management, and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in a Lead or Senior Project Controls role.
