Role Overview

Novec, a leading engineering consulting firm established in 1958 and a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion group, is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join their team at the Technopolis campus in Salé, Morocco. Core Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job posting creation, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking system management
  • Onboarding & Integration: Coordinate new hire orientation programs, prepare welcome packages, and facilitate smooth integration of employees
  • HR Administration: Maintain personnel files, update HR databases, process documentation for contracts, amendments, and certifications
  • Training & Development: Support identification of training needs, organize learning sessions, and track employee development plans
  • Employee Relations: Act as first point of contact for HR inquiries, assist with internal communications, and support engagement initiatives
  • Payroll & Benefits Assistance: Collaborate with payroll team on data verification, benefits enrollment support, and leave management
  • HR Projects: Participate in HR process improvement projects, policy updates, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to Moroccan labor law, prepare HR metrics reports, and support audit activities

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Strong academic background with focus on HR practices, labor law, and organizational behavior
  • Excellent command of French and Arabic (written and spoken); English proficiency is a significant asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced engineering consulting environment

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Previous internship experience in HR, administration, or professional services firms
  • Knowledge of Moroccan Labor Code and social security regulations
  • Experience with talent acquisition tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms
  • Project management basics and process improvement methodologies
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
  • Interest in engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors
