Role Overview

We are seeking a Specialist Business Intelligence (BI) to join the PT&C IDS - Information Management & Digital Delivery team in Sohar, Oman. This role focuses on leveraging BI tools and data analytics to drive data-driven decision-making within the oil and gas or industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify business trends, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets related to BI projects and tools.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Proven experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment in Sohar.
