Supervisor, Offshore Maintenance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Offshore Maintenance to lead maintenance operations on offshore platforms in Oman. This critical role ensures the integrity, reliability, and safety of all production and utility equipment within the Musandam Cluster. As a key member of the Operated Assets team, you will drive operational excellence, minimize downtime, and uphold the highest standards of asset management.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all planned and corrective maintenance activities for offshore production systems, rotating equipment, and safety systems.
• Manage maintenance budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) to ensure cost-effective execution without compromising safety or quality.
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and company procedures.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS tools to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and materials through effective inventory management and coordination with procurement.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and performance metrics for management review.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore maintenance supervision within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, valves, piping systems, and instrumentation.
• Proven track record in managing maintenance teams and contractors in a remote offshore environment.
• Familiarity with HSE management systems and offshore safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS platforms.
• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety training.
• Knowledge of corrosion control, cathodic protection, and structural integrity management.
• Experience in project management and turnaround planning.
