IT SUPPORT OFFICER

Job Overview

The IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing first-line and second-line technical support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-line support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Escalate complex problems to second-line support and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain and monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
• Provide user training and create documentation for common issues.
• Assist in managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, basic networking concepts, and common hardware components.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem‑solving abilities, and customer‑service orientation.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
