Role Overview

City Hyper Market is seeking an experienced Health & Beauty Supervisor to lead the health and beauty department at our hypermarket location in Doha, Qatar. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a team of beauty advisors and sales associates, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service across skincare, haircare, cosmetics, and personal care categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor beauty advisors and sales associates in the health and beauty department.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrance, and wellness products.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising standards to maximize product visibility and minimize shrinkage.
• Conduct regular product knowledge training sessions to ensure staff expertise on new launches, ingredients, and usage techniques.
• Monitor KPIs including conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Coordinate with buying and marketing teams for promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and in-store events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies for cosmetic product handling and tester hygiene.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing expert product recommendations and resolutions.

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a department supervisor or assistant manager in health and beauty retail, preferably within a hypermarket or large-format store.
• Deep knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, skincare routines, haircare solutions, and makeup application techniques.
• Proficiency in retail management systems, POS software, and inventory management tools.
• Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting, stock turnover analysis, and margin optimization.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language proficiency is highly advantageous.
