Landscaping Technician Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing routine garden maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and fertilizing.
• Planting and transplanting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other horticultural elements.
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools.
• Irrigation system management, including installation, repair, and monitoring.
• Applying pesticides and herbicides safely and effectively according to regulations.
• Pruning trees and shrubs to maintain shape and health.
• Laying sod and installing mulch.
• Assisting with the design and implementation of new landscape features.

Requirements for Outdoor & Garden Specialists

• Proven experience as a Landscaping Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and pest/disease control.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
• Teamwork and good communication skills.
