About the Role

We are seeking a vigilant and certified Lifeguard to join our team in the vibrant hospitality and services sector in Doha. As a key member of our safety and recreation staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of all patrons in and around our aquatic facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to water safety and excellent observational skills to prevent accidents and respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities of a Pool Safety Officer

• Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and enforce safety rules.
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Inspect aquatic facilities regularly for hazards and report any issues.
• Educate patrons on safe swimming practices and facility regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of pool equipment for events or activities.

Qualifications for a Water Safety Attendant

• Current Lifeguarding certification (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA).
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Proven experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
