Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the airport’s Safety Management System (SMS) to meet ICAO and local regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across terminals, runways, and support facilities.
- Lead incident investigation teams, produce root‑cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with air traffic control, airline operators, and ground handling crews to ensure seamless safety communication.
- Prepare and deliver safety briefings, training sessions, and emergency response drills for staff.
- Maintain up‑to‑date safety documentation, reports, and compliance records for internal and external audits.
- Monitor emerging safety trends and advise senior management on proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation safety, security, or risk management, preferably within a major international airport.

- Proven ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and produce clear, actionable reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
