Sr. Flight Security Officer – Aviation Safety Role in Qatar

We are looking for a Sr. Flight Security Officer to join our aviation security team in Qatar. About the Role

As a Senior Flight Security Officer — also referred to as an Aviation Security Supervisor or Flight Safety Specialist — you will be at the forefront of protecting passengers, crew, and aircraft from security threats. This role demands strong leadership, sharp analytical skills, and deep knowledge of aviation security protocols including threat assessment, access control, and regulatory compliance. You will operate within Qatar's dynamic aviation sector, contributing to one of the region's fastest-growing aviation hubs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of flight security personnel to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Carry out comprehensive Security Risk Assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures across flight operations.
• Conduct detailed Security Surveys of aircraft, airport facilities, and operational zones to maintain the highest safety standards.
• Process and manage Immigration and aircraft access control, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry to restricted areas.
• Prevent and respond to breaches of aviation security through proactive monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency protocols.
• Develop and update security standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with ICAO and local regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with airport authorities, airline operators, and government agencies on all security-related matters.
• Deliver training sessions and briefings to security staff on emerging threats, new protocols, and best practices in aviation protection.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience in aviation security, flight safety, or a closely related security discipline, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a security team effectively under high-pressure environments.
• Strong knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies and aviation security survey techniques.
• Experience with immigration processing and aircraft access control systems within an airport or airline setting.
• Threat detection and prevention skills with a solid understanding of aviation security regulations (ICAO, local civil aviation authority standards).
