Heavy Equipment Technician | Preventive Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to ensure the continuous availability and reliability of our vehicle fleet. The primary responsibility is to keep equipment operational by performing thorough inspections, diagnostic testing, and executing all required preventive maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and brake inspections.
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts, such as belts, hoses, filters, and batteries.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
