About the Role

Milaha is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Collections to join our dynamic Finance Department in Qatar. This pivotal role involves overseeing and optimizing collection processes to ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables. As a key player in the Operations Department, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain strong financial health and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the collections team, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize aging receivables.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Manager – Receivables on collection performance and strategies.
  • Liaise with the Legal Department on escalated collection cases requiring legal intervention.
  • Monitor and analyze collection metrics, providing regular reports on key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and legal regulations related to debt collection.
  • Foster strong internal communication and collaboration with other departments, including Operations and Legal.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of collection laws and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
