Eagle Mining Company (EMC) is looking for an experienced Senior Fleet & Logistics Manager to oversee our vital truck and tipper fleet operations in Bureida, SA. This leadership role is pivotal for maintaining operational continuity, ensuring maximum fleet readiness, and upholding top-tier efficiency, safety, and excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for daily fleet activities, guaranteeing efficient and reliable project support.
- Manage and control operating expenses, focusing on fuel optimization, reduced maintenance costs, and effective spare parts management.
- Uphold strict safety standards and regulatory compliance for all vehicles.
- Analyze fleet data to enhance uptime, minimize downtime, boost productivity, and improve overall fleet performance.
- Lead and develop operational supervisors, maintenance crews, and drivers in a disciplined, performance-driven environment.
Qualifications We Seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in fleet and transportation management.
- Demonstrated experience managing tipper and heavy equipment fleets is highly preferred.
