Airbus Helicopters in Riyadh is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with Airbus standards, and managing both internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities: Financials & Reporting

• Lead the preparation and timely submission of comprehensive Financial Statements reports.
• Efficiently prepare and consolidate reports for Group reporting requirements, including ICART and FACTS+.
• Maintain regular coordination and communication with the Group Consolidation team.
• Conduct regular reviews of journal entries and perform in-depth analysis of general ledgers.
• Ensure strict adherence to Airbus processes and compliance regulations.
• Proactively conduct deviation analysis of financial statements monthly to support local and HO Finance queries.

Coordination for Annual Audits (Internal & External)

• Assume a lead role in coordinating the Annual Financial Audit process.
• Prepare diverse statements as required by external and internal auditors.
• Proactively manage audit schedules and various audit requirements by effectively following up with team members and relevant departments.
• Effectively communicate and liaise with auditors to arrange meetings with departments such as Controlling, Procurement, HR, and Operations, acting as a key liaison to bridge any information gaps.
• Support the Tax Manager in finalizing Annual Income Tax Returns, including the identification of revenue, foreign and local purchases, and subcontracting costs.

Supervision of Accounting Operations & Closing Activities

• Oversee and manage banking payments and critical treasury matters.
• Provide strong guidance and support to the accounting team, supervising day-to-day operations, meticulously reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and fostering professional development.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing through efficient supervision of accounting operations and close coordination with Controlling to accurately book all cost center and project-related expenses and revenues.
• Actively participate in payroll projects, withholding tax applications, payable and receivable controls, and diligently monitor cash flow.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with a significant portion in a senior role.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and reporting, preferably within a multinational corporation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating internal and external audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
