Key Responsibilities: Logistics Operations and Compliance

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation planning, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and vendor coordination for aircraft parts and materials.
• Oversee time-sensitive and critical parts movements, acting as a senior operational focal point to proactively manage disruptions and resolve issues, minimizing aircraft downtime.
• Ensure the timely, compliant, and efficient movement of aircraft parts and materials across domestic and international networks to support maintenance and operational activities.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with GACA, IATA, ICAO, FAA, and EASA regulations, including the compliant handling and shipment of Dangerous Goods.
• Ensure all shipping documentation, customs records, and bonded stock are accurate and audit-ready, performing routine control checks to support regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, and external logistics partners to monitor logistics performance through KPIs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of digital tools to enhance tracking, reporting, and operational resilience within the logistics function.

Qualifications: Aviation Logistics Specialist Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Logistics Officer or similar role within the aviation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping regulations.
• Familiarity with GACA, IATA, ICAO, FAA, and EASA regulations, particularly concerning Dangerous Goods.
• Experience in managing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, customs, and vendor coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively manage disruptions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside various internal departments and external partners.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for tracking, reporting, and operational enhancement.
