Logistics Specialist | Supply Chain Coordinator | Freight Forwarder – Saudi Arabia

About the Role

LanceSoft Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This 12-month contract position, based in the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Science Park (KASP) in Dhahran, offers a unique opportunity to oversee critical daily logistics operations and contribute to process improvements within a leading organization. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including strong logistic tracking and independent ownership.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with Incoterms and customs regulations.
• Negotiate and manage carrier contracts, rates, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners to ensure reliable service.
• Manage and expedite air, sea, and land transportation operations.
• Plan and execute transportation for out-of-gauge, breakbulk, high-value, or time-sensitive cargo.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the logistics network.
• Map, review, and streamline logistics processes to improve speed, accuracy, and visibility.
• Monitor KPIs such as transit time, on-time delivery, and freight spend.
• Provide regular reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement actions.

Essential Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and the logistics sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with Oracle software is required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and independent leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and customs regulations.
• Experience in handling project and special cargo is preferred.
