What Does a Fullstack Web Developer Do?

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing both the front-end and back-end of our core SaaS product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and robust server-side architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and back-end services
• Design and manage relational and non-relational databases
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure platform scalability and reliability

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, Software Engineer, or Web Application Developer
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue.js)
• Solid back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java)
• Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus
