What You'll Own

• Optimize site performance, security, and compliance with evolving privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, etc.).
• Implement cookie consent mechanisms, data anonymization, and secure data handling practices.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure every new feature respects user privacy from the ground up.
• Perform regular audits to identify and fix privacy gaps in existing sites.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio of live, privacy-compliant sites.
• Deep understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress hooks/filters.
• Hands-on experience with privacy plugins (e.g., Complianz, Cookiebot, WP GDPR) and custom compliance solutions.
• Knowledge of server-side and client-side caching, CDN integration, and security best practices.
• A meticulous eye for detail – you know that a single unsecured script can break a compliance framework.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely or in a team.
