Systems and Networks Technician Level 1 Support Color Conseil Tunis Full-time

Role Overview

Color Conseil, a dynamic and innovative IT services company based in Tunis, is seeking a Systems and Networks Technician to provide Level 1 technical support. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of systems and networks for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing system, phone, and email.
• Monitor network performance, server health, and backup systems using monitoring tools.
• Perform routine system administration tasks: user account management, password resets, access control.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and basic firewall configurations.
• Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support or specialized teams.
• Assist in IT asset management, including deployment, configuration, and inventory of endpoints.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a Systems Technician, Network Technician, or IT Support Specialist (1-2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching (Cisco or similar), and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup solutions, and monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios).
• Experience with ticketing systems (ITIL practices, ServiceNow, JIRA, GLPI).
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
