Entry-Level Civil Engineer (UAE National) – Saipem, Abu Dhabi

You will contribute to innovative projects within our Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, and Robotics & Industrialized Solutions business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural engineering design, finite element analysis (FEA), and load calculations for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.
• Perform structural integrity assessments, fatigue analysis, and weight optimization studies.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs adhere to critical industry standards such as API, AISC, DNV, ISO, and client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including process, piping, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to deliver cohesive engineering solutions.
• Work closely with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure constructability and cost-effectiveness throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide essential technical support for offshore installation, transportation, and lifting operations.
• Undertake site visits and inspections as necessary to support project execution and structural modifications.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Must be a UAE National.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (API, AISC, DNV, ISO).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis (e.g., FEA tools).
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
