Key Responsibilities

• Expertly set up and calibrate a wide range of scientific laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable experimental results.
• Provide crucial assistance during teaching activities, including demonstrations, experiments, and practical sessions for students.
• Proactively manage and maintain adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and consumables, reordering as necessary.
• Champion and enforce a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all established laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty members to support curriculum development and research initiatives within the science departments.
• Offer direct support to students during their laboratory work, guiding them through procedures and troubleshooting any issues.
• Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for specific experiments and practical classes.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inventory, and safety checks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working with diverse scientific laboratory equipment.
• Solid understanding and practical application of laboratory safety procedures and regulations.
